Magdalene is very smooth, with the length, the dairy strength that we hold as ideal. She walks with grace and elegance. Her udder came in full, and socked-on. As she ages, she continues to collect BUB and BUIS wins. She continually catches my eye in the pen–definitely a favorite. This doe really has it all. What a wonderful outcross on our favorite doe from the Mamm-Key herd and our own beloved Medesima. Her full brother, Mahogany, produced Melvyna (below) and the crosses between these two lines are really special. Her daughter Magnolia, by Lincoln, was 3rd place Junior Kid at the 2017 National Show, and belongs to Alpenthal’s. We are pleased to retain her daughter Minerva, by Dawnwind Homie Manolo, in the herd in 2020, and daughter Magritte, by Pleasant-Grove Legion Laureate, in the herd in 2021.
